I love the way this top looks when it is fully on but, it is a pain to take off I can remove my hard top in less time. the rear window has no way to hold it up when you roll it up, you have to completely remove it, and then, to replace it you have to basically remove the whole top. To reattach the header bar you also have to remove the whole top and then reinstall the top from the front to back and if it is not 75-80 degrees forget getting it back on. Our 1982 CJ7 was never drilled/fitted for a top before, which meant we had to get the Supertop, and also had to drill. The drilling was a 2 person job(for measuring reasons), but after that, it wasn't too bad. The only other slight snag we had was figuring out the back bar on the frame and fitting the top over it. Directions aren't too clear on that step, and as having never done this before, we were afraid of breaking it if we pulled down too hard. This mount is for a 2010 Dodge ram 1500 4x4. The problem I have with it is you have to remove a brace from the bumper and leave it off which leaves it some what unstable. Also the mount will not retract to its full upright position without hitting the tail pipe. This is either going to rattle and ware a hole in the pipe. This truck has duel pipes so the bracket does not fit right. You cannot move the pipe over to clear the mount because the bumper has the factory cutouts for the pipes to go through.
